CITATION FOR COMMAND SCIENCE SECONDARY SCHOOL (CSSS), EFA-ETINAN, AKWA IBOM STATE 

Command Science Secondary School (CSSS) Efa-Etinan, Akwa Ibom was established on 18 April 2018 on the request of the Akwa Ibom State government for the establishment of a command school in the state. The school commenced academic activities in 2019 with students admitted into JSS 1 and SS 3 classes respectively.

Within the short time of its establishment, CSSS Efa-Etinan has provided quality educational services to wards of both military personnel and civilians alike and has also excelled in various academic and co-curricular activities and competitions. Notably amongst others are:

1.  Best overall graduating student in Nigerian public schools in the 2023 West African Examination Council Examination (WAEC).

2.  Best Science Secondary School in Nigeria in the 2023 WAEC.

3.  Best aggregate results in WAEC among public schools in Nigeria in WAEC 2023. More recently, the school came first overall in the 6 Division Nigerian Army Quiz, debate and essay writing competition 2025, organized among command Secondary Schools in the south-south region.

CSSS Efa-Etinan, Akwa Ibom is poised not to rest on its oars and will continue to provide quality education and achieve academic excellence that will in turn build quality leaders for Nigeria.
