- Born on Friday 10th December 1937 in Ilawo Oke –Ona-Egba Abeokuta to Alhaji Sulaimon folarin and Alhaja Suwebatu Sulaimon.
- Educated at Boys high School Abeokuta – 1952 – 1956;
- Nigerian College of Arts and science (now OAU) for an advance course in accounting.
- Went further to study at the Balham and Tooting College United Kingdom in 1961
- Completed intermediate course for the Association of Certified Chartered Accountant (ACCA) in May 1962

- 17th President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) May 1981.
- Spearheaded establishment of ICAN district Societies outside Lagos and became the first Chairman of District Societies Committee of ICAN.
- Awarded the Kano / Jigawa District Society of ICAN award for the furtherance of ICAN ideals in 1995
- Awarded the ICAN Merit Award in recognition of contribution to the development of the Accounting Profession in Nigeria
